Your name, saved with each ruling you make. It holds for this browser tab only; it is not a login.

The base text is exported with the corrections that have been applied to it (with the Apply button on the bar above the text) and no others. Rulings you have saved but not applied are left out, and the export says how many; "Export with unapplied rulings too" adds them. The other texts are exported as they stand. The file goes to your Downloads folder.

Saving a ruling records it in your rulings file. Applying writes every saved ruling into the base text itself, so that it is part of the text from then on and is in every export. Nothing is applied until you ask; the rulings file keeps every ruling either way.
